“When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves.” ― Viktor E. Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning
I couldn’t have said it better myself. I have always been fascinated by the transformations of those that have been in seemingly hopeless situations. Viktor Frankl was a psychiatrist before becoming a victim to the Holocaust. He taught others that if they were able to find their passion, and use it to drive their life purpose, that meaning would be seen in all areas of their lives. I agree. We all go through the wheel of life that WE have created for ourselves. In many cases, we find ourselves stuck in a place we don’t want to be, in relationships that are not healthy for us, and in general get farther and farther away from our true selves ……what we were meant to be when our soul was born.
As a high school teacher for many years I have witnessed those who have used their talents, blossom as human beings. I have also seen people struggle who are stricken by fear, insecurity, doubt, and negative self-worth. Many of the latter have come to me for advice, to seek a listening ear, or just have someone empathize with his or her needs and wants.
I have a talent of holding space for people that want to find their passion. For years, I have studied and worked on my own purpose in life and realized that mine is to help others get unstuck, help them see their potential, seek a positive attitude, and guide them back to their true souls. I help people fall up (get back up after a challenge), am a possibility enhancer, hope re-newer, and restorer of pride. I realize that if change is to occur it has to occur within someone’s inside, not the external things that ‘happen’ to us.
If you think that you could use a boost to fall up, get unstuck, or just need to have someone listen in a non-biased way I would be honored to help you on your journey!
“The one thing you can’t take away from me is the way I choose to respond to what you do to me. The last of one’s freedoms is to choose one’s attitude in any given circumstance.” ― Viktor E. Frankl
